The Open Room is a brick and mortar retail shop located in Ketchum, Idaho near the resort of Sun Valley, Idaho. We are an independent, family-owned business with a very hands on approach. Owned since 2011 by the Newhouse family, we are specialists in furnishings for outdoor living. Our goal is to provide our clients with honest, personal, and friendly service. In our design approach we strive to create outdoor rooms that are warm and welcoming, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.  We represent manufacturers that have been carefully curated by us for their product design, quality, reputation, warranties, and value.
