The SM22 dining table by Skovby exemplifies innovative Danish design and craftsmanship. This expanding table, incorporating a patented design, was developed and manufactured in Denmark. When fully collapsed, the SM22 features a practical rectangular configuration of 37.5" x 56", seating 4-6 people. When you pull open the long ends of the table, the hidden extension leaf automatically rises up; simply unfold the leaves, put them in place, and your table has been transformed into a roomy, handsome square table measuring 56" x 56" and comfortably seating 8. The SM22 comes in an Oak veneer finish. Some assembly is required.
All Skovby tables are made from carefully selected wood that has been kiln dried to be in balance with the average indoor climate. Skovby uses water-based stains to achieve their beautiful finishes, and then applies a lacquer for a durable, smooth and uniform surface. All Skovby furniture meets the rigorous standards of the Danish Technological Institute and the Danish Furnituremaker's Quality Control.
