The Magnolia platform bed by Greenington is made of bamboo, a fully sustainable and rapidly growing renewable resource. This beautifully designed bamboo platform bed features a solid wood headboard and box-frame base on which the mattress rests.
The Magnolia platform bed is available in queen (88 1/4" long x 72" wide x 29 1/2" tall) and king (88 1/4" long x 90" wide x 29 1/2" tall), and is featured solid bamboo in a caramelized tiger finish. Works beautifully with the Magnolia night table and dresser.
Greenington makes a full line of high quality bamboo furniture for the living room, dining room and bedroom. Bamboo is one of the earth's fastest growing plants and releases 35% more oxygen than comparable hardwood trees, making it highly effective in the reduction of atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide. Greenington uses only maturated Moso bamboo that is at least 5 years old, to produce furniture that is durable and stable (bamboo is significantly harder than most hardwoods -- even oak), and made with low-emitting adhesives. Bed requires some assembly.
