Redemption
Gift Certificates can be redeemed either in-store at The Open Room, by phone, or on The Open Room website, www.openroomfurniture.com toward the purchase of eligible products. Purchases are deducted from the Gift Certificate balance. Any unused balance will be available for future purchases. If a purchase exceeds the amount of the Gift Certificate, the balance must be paid with a credit card or other available payment method. Gift Certificates are redeemable for merchandise only and cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash except where required by law. Only one Gift Certificate can be used per online purchase. Multiple Gift Certificates can be used per in-store or phone purchase.
Expiration
Purchased Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates actually purchased and paid for do not expire
and we do not assess any service fees for non-use.
Gratis or Awarded Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates that are received as an award, or the result of a drawing or other promotion
may or may not expire depending on the specific terms of the applicable promotion.
Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for Gift Certificates passes to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to, or physical delivery to the recipient. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates.
Lost or Stolen Gift Certificates
To report a lost or stolen Gift Certificate please call The Open Room at 208.622.0222. The Open Room may, in its sole discretion, replace the remaining balance on a lost or stolen Gift Certificate if the original sales receipt is provided.
Fraud
The Open Room retains the right to request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed.
Limitation of Liability
THE OPEN ROOM MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CERTIFICATES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT AN GIFT CERTIFICATE NUMBER IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CERTIFICATE. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
Refunds, Order Cancellations or Modifications
Any refunds, order cancellations or modifications to an order resulting in an adjustment of the amount due The Open Room will be applied to the original Gift Certificate within 1 business day. Gift Certificates are not useable for price adjustments on previous purchases.
General Terms
Your purchase or use of an Gift Certificate constitutes acceptance of these Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions. These Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. Gift Certificates and their use are also subject to our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return Policy. The Open Room reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion. All Terms and Conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
