See the different Faces of the Moon: a little weird, very cool, totally fun!
These unique and compelling Cao Maru stress balls were created by Japanese design student, Makiko Yoshida. We are not sure how she came up with the idea, but we are glad she did! The odd little faces in the series of four are meant to represent the different faces (not phases!) of the moon, and are made of an extremely pliable polyurethane resin. Available in white and in charcoal, the soft-heads can be squeezed, squashed, squished and mashed for stress relief throughout your busy day, or just for the fun of seeing the individual expressions change.
The designer of these Cao Maru faces, Makiko Yoshida, graduated from the Design Department of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2003. She has remarked that her special ability is memorizing people’s faces (but she can’t remember their names!).
Available in four expressive faces, the balls measure about 2.75" in diameter each, white or charcoal. These guys will definitely be the start of a few interesting conversations, and are the perfect gift for the person who has everything! Sold individually.
